Mike Berkley is pleased to announce his new affiliation with Dr. David Kreiner and East Coast Fertility, establishing the first holistic fertility center on Long Island! These two leaders in their respective fields will offer an ‘East meets West’ approach to treating patients which, in turn, will improve fertile wellness.
East Coast Fertility provides state-of-the-art, high tech fertility care and The Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness provides holistic modalities such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage. In addition to treating those faced with the difficult challenge of infertility, The Berkley Center – Long Island is also treating gynecological disorders including PMS, pelvic pain, menopausal symptoms, post-partum-depression, low libido, anorgasmia and menstruation related headache.
Mike Berkley is the first acupuncturist in the U.S. to devote his practice solely to the care of those faced with fertility challenges. Already having a successful practice in Manhattan in which he is extremely devoted to his patients, Mike is honored to be able to share his expertise more accessibly with those on Long Island. The Berkley Center for Reproductive Wellness and The Acupuncture Center for Fertility and Women’s Health – New Jersey have joined hands to be of service to those trying to conceive in New Jersey!
Patti Safian, a Licensed Acupuncturist, is Nationally Board Certified in acupuncture and is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey. She studied acupuncture at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and earned a Master of Science degree from Tri-State College of Acupuncture. Since she has been in practice, Patti has become a specialist in the treatment of infertility and gynecological problems.
Patti has been trained by Mike Berkley in the Berkley Method of Reproductive Wellness.™ (link) Mike is the first one in the U.S. to devote a complementary medicine practice to the care and treatment of those trying-to-conceive. The Berkley Method of Reproductive Wellness™ has been used for thirteen years in conjunction with assisted reproductive technology to help couples start or increase families.
Our goal is not just higher pregnancy rates, but higher ‘take-home-baby’ rates. Mike knew immediately upon meeting Patti that she had the keen intellect and burning desire and huge heart to help those faced with the challenge of infertility.
Mike knew that Patti would be of paramount importance in helping to extend the arm of help and care into New Jersey under his guidance. She can already boast many successful cases. In addition, Patti has been a certified yoga teacher since 1996. She studied at Jivamukti Yoga, Kripalu Yoga Center, and has been certified by Yoga Montclair as Anusara Inspired as well as by White Lotus Foundation and Integrative Yoga Therapy.
Patti has developed certain exercises and yoga positions which specifically improve blood flow to the reproductive organs. This ‘Fertility Yoga’ is helpful for men and women. In addition to physically helping to improve the function of your reproductive system, Patti’s method significantly reduces stress and helps to resolve feelings of depression and hopelessness.
