Additional seminars are in development

The study of reproductive medicine and gynecology is intense, arduous and difficult.  The material is dense, your time is limited, and there’s so much to learn. The question that prevails is whose seminar do I attend? Is it worth the money?  To take a seminar does it require that I travel to the destination of the seminar? Have to buy plane tickets? Pay for a hotel room? Buy food? Spend money on transportation?  Who is the teacher? What is his or her clinical experience?   Are the seminars approved by the NCCAOM? California? ABORM? Will I learn a lot? Can I clinically apply what I have learned, or will the seminar be just theory?

Please allow me to answer these questions…

Mike Berkley graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 1996. In 1997 he started treating reproductive disorders. Before the end of 1997 he decided to devote his life and life’s work to this field so he could help people achieve their dream of starting or expanding a family. Mike is the first person in the United States to devote a practice entirely to the treatment and care of couples suffering with the terrible challenge of infertility.

Mike has lectured extensively on infertility. His lectures are replete with information on Western medical approaches to the various causes of infertility, proven acupuncture protocols and in-depth herbal medicine component. Mike has lectured not only to practitioners of Chinese medicine but also to gynecologists and reproductive endocrinologists.  He has also lectured at The American Fertility Association, Resolve, and The Endometriosis Association.  He is the first acupuncturist to be inducted into a Society of Ob-Gyns. Mike works with patients from St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Batzofin Fertility Services, New York Cornell, Dr. Jonathan Zhang, Dr. David Hoffman, Dr. Robert Kiltz and many other highly regarded reproductive endocrinologists in New York City. Mike also works with patients and their local acupuncturists on a national and international level via telephone consultations. Other acupuncturists also refer extremely complex cases to him as well. Mike is also extremely generous of his time when it comes to helping fellow practitioners. He is always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, and answer questions that another acupuncturist may have regarding a case.

When you study medicine with Mike you are learning from someone who has been on the front lines in the battle against infertility for eleven years. Being the first in this field, Mike is one of the most respected practitioners of complementary reproductive medicine and is highly regarded by both acupuncturists and reproductive endocrinologists.

Now a little about his NEW seminar format…

All seminars are ‘live’ and ‘online.’ You can attend Mike’s seminars as you sit in the comfort of your living room. No traveling, no plane tickets, no hotels, no loss of time. You simply turn on your computer at the appointed date and time and he will be on your screen lecturing to you and hundreds more simultaneously around the nation. You will be able to ask questions during the lecture! Imagine not having to leave your home and being able to earn California, NCCAOM and ABORM approved CEUs ! Well now you can!

“Mike’s reputation in the community of Oriental reproductive medicine is unsurpassed. His ongoing efforts to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western reproductive medicine have contributed greatly to both fields of fertility treatment, and most importantly, to the patients who seek his assistance.”

“Mike and I have worked very closely together, collaborating on difficult infertility cases, and we have jointly presented several talks and seminars regarding the treatment of infertility and reproductive disorders. In short, Dr Berkley and I share this same philosophical approach in helping infertile couples become pregnant.

Through the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and State-of-the-Art Assisted Reproductive Technology, a comprehensive treatment approach to infertility is created. This integration serves to promote maximal results through a truly holistic approach to the infertile patient, providing a complete treatment protocol which addresses all aspects of the individual.

Together, we have seen dramatic success with this approach even in difficult cases, and I believe this will be the model for all fertility treatments in the future.

Mike is the best at what he does. In addition to being an excellent clinician, Dr Berkley has the profound warmth and compassion that personifies the role of a healer. He is the only acupuncturist/herbalist that I know of who has devoted his career and life to learning, teaching and practicing reproductive medicine from a Traditional Chinese Medicine model.

I feel confident in highly recommending him as a teacher and as a healer.”

“As President of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM), it is my responsibility to audit a significant majority of the seminars and courses being offered on the subject of Reproductive Medicine & Infertility across the United States. I also have the unique perspective of being both a specialist in the TCM treatment of reproductive disorders for over a decade, and teaching the reproductive medicine component of the Doctoral Program at Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles. Like many other practitioners who specialize in the treatment of infertility, I work very closely with Reproductive Endocrinologists on a daily basis and I know what they expect and look for in a complementary medicine practitioner for their patients.

Having said all of this, I can say without hesitation that Mike Berkley is one of the brightest minds in the United States when it comes to teaching on the subject of the treatment of Reproductive Disorders & Infertility with Traditional Chinese Medicine. Mike's fluency in both the western medical aspects of reproductive disorders and the TCM aspects of Infertility make his courses an enriching experience that will leave those in attendance with a firm foundation from which to begin confidently incorporating an Infertility specialty into their practices. Mike's emphasis on understanding the relationship between western reproductive physiology and pathology, and TCM reproductive physiology and pattern differentiation is essential for anyone looking to improve their success with some of the more difficult cases of infertility that they may encounter. Mike teaches from both a solid knowledge base, and a wealth of experience, and he holds nothing back in his enthusiasm to share his clinical pearls. Anyone seeking to build their knowledge base in the treatment of Reproductive Disorders & Infertility should not miss Mike Berkley's course.”
